Evol G, the bass ninja of Boise, has been wrecking sound systems in Idaho for the past three years. Inspired by Hip Hop in the late 1980s, Drum and Bass in the late 1990s, and then discovering dubstep in 2005; Evol G started working with his good friend Hecca in 2007 and formed the deadly DJ duo Evol G & Hecca; who played at parties and clubs all over Southern Idaho. Hecca departed in 2008 to Portland, Oregon leaving Evol G to be one of a handful of DJs in Boise pushing new sounds like dubstep and the only one playing UK bassline. But times have changed and in April 2010, Evol G will be calling Portland home and will be unleashing his subsonic dubplates on his forthcoming music blog / label Make it Bang!
